Comme un des pasteurs dans le village duquel un puits a été creusé a dit, on ne peut pas prêcher l’Evangile quand les gens sont trop préoccupés de savoir s’ils auront de l’eau et si elle sera propre. Il faut d’abord répondre à ce besoin pour ensuite pouvoir révéler la source d’eau Vive, Jésus. De la même manière qu’Il a donné gratuitement Sa vie pour que nous l’ayons en abondance, Water for Burkina creuse les puits gratuitement, pour être un témoin de celui qui a fait le don ultime.
